CESCO provides a range of engineering services, including mechanical maintenance, industrial plant maintenance, process plant engineering support and other maintenance services.
Our experienced engineering team delivers practical, reliable maintenance solutions that help businesses maximise equipment availability, improve operational efficiency, extend asset service life, and maintain compliance with industry standards. Weather performing routine mechanical maintenance, supporting and planned plant shutdowns, or carrying out specialised services such as pressure testing, chemical cleaning, pipeline pigging, hydraulic system maintenance and valve testing, we provide the technical expertise required to keep critical industrial operations running safely and efficiently.
Maintenance engineering services involve the systematic planning, inspection, maintenance, testing, and optimisation of industrial equipment and mechanical systems to ensure they operate safely, efficiently, and reliably throughout their service life. These services are essential for protecting valuable assets, reducing unexpected downtime, extending equipment lifespan, improving operational efficiency, and supporting uninterrupted production across industrial facilities.
As a trusted provider of maintenance engineering company in Singapore, CESCO delivers specialised engineering solutions for industries where equipment reliability, process safety, and operational continuity are paramount. Our experienced engineering team focuses on maintaining the integrity and performance of critical industrial assets through professional inspection, testing, cleaning, mechanical maintenance, and system support services.
CESCO’s maintenance work sits within a wider set of plant engineering services in Singapore Registered under SSIC Code 71122 for Process and Industrial Plant Engineering Services, we support the full engineering lifecycle of industrial facilities — from keeping installed systems reliable through planned and corrective maintenance, to the inspection, testing, and servicing that keep process plant available and safe. Whether you need a single maintenance scope or ongoing plant engineering support, our team works to the standard each system demands.
Unexpected equipment failures lead to costly production losses, emergency repair, safety risks, and damage to surrounding equipment. A proactive maintenance strategy helps minimise these risks by identifying potential issues before they develop into major failures. By implementing structured maintenance programmes, businesses can:
At CESCO’s, we work closely with clients to develop maintenance programmes that align with operational schedules. Routine servicing and inspections are coordinated around production requirements, while major maintenance activities are efficiently executed during planned shutdowns. Every project is carried out using established engineering procedures, permit-to-work systems, and comprehensive documentation to supports compliance, asset management, and future maintenance planning.
CESCO provides a comprehensive range of maintenance engineering services, including:
Our multidisciplinary engineering capabilities enable us to support both routine maintenance programmes and specialised maintenance projects across complex industrial facilities.
Our maintenance projects follow a structured engineering process designed to maximise efficiency while minimising operational disruption.
We evaluate equipment condition, operating history, and maintenance requirements to develop an effective maintenance strategy.
Maintenance activities are carefully planned around plant operations, allowing routine servicing during normal operation and major works during scheduled shutdowns.
All work is performed by experienced engineers and technicians following approved procedures, permit-to-work systems, equipment isolation protocols and strict safety controls in place.
Following maintenance, equipment is inspected, tested, and verified to ensure it meets operational and safety requirements before returning to service.
Detailed maintenance records, inspection findings, and testing results are provided to support compliance and future planning.

Pre-commissioning focuses on preparing new or modified equipment and systems for safe start-up and commissioning. This typically includes cleaning, testing, flushing, pressure testing, and system verification before operations begin.
Maintenance engineering, on the other hand, supports equipment that are already in service by providing preventive, corrective, predictive, and turnaround maintenance to ensure long-term reliability, safety, and operational performance.
Yes. CESCO provides plant engineering services in Singapore under SSIC Code 71122, and maintenance engineering is a core part of that. It covers the maintenance, inspection, testing, and servicing of installed process and industrial plant.
Yes. CESCO provides both preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance services. Preventive maintenance involves scheduled inspections and servicing to minimise equipment failures and extend asset life, while corrective maintenance focuses on diagnosing and repairing faults to safely restore equipment to normal operation.
Yes. CESCO supports planned shutdowns, turnarounds, and maintenance outages across a wide range of industrial facilities. Our engineering team plans and executes maintenance activities during scheduled shutdowns, enabling major inspections, repairs, equipment replacement, and system upgrades while minimising operational disruption and ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently .
CESCO provides maintenance engineering services for a broad range of industrial equipment and mechanical systems, including:
Our services support the marine, offshore, oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, manufacturing, and process industries.
Yes. Comprehensive maintenance records and service performed documentation are provided for every project. Depending on the scope of work, documentation may include inspection reports, testing results, maintenance records, work completion reports, and other supporting documents. These records help support regulatory compliance, improve asset management, and facilitate future maintenance planning.
CESCO acknowledges the recent waste disposal incident in Malaysia and expresses its deepest regret over the matter. We have taken immediate steps to work in full cooperation with the relevant environmental and regulatory authorities to resolve the situation and to prevent any recurrence.
Following a comprehensive internal investigation, it was determined that the incident stemmed from actions taken by third-party contractors that violated our environmental compliance standards and internal governance protocols. The actions were not sanctioned by CESCO and are entirely inconsistent with our values of integrity, sustainability, and corporate accountability.
As part of our response, Mr. Tan Eng Yong — who was involved in the contractor selection process — has ceased all affiliation with CESCO with effect from 25 April 2025. This decision was made to reinforce our uncompromising stance on ethical conduct and responsible stewardship.
CESCO upholds the highest standards of environmental protection, transparency, and operational integrity. We are committed to strengthening our compliance framework and will continue to take all necessary measures to safeguard the trust placed in us by our stakeholders, communities, and regulatory partners.
We thank the authorities for their continued guidance and oversight during this time.
